Property of the Dead(Excerpt)
Excerpt
I remember it clearly, like a reoccurring nightmare. If only it was just a bad dream.
Complete, utter, chaos; hell unleashed on Earth. The air had been thick with fear and filled with screams. Cold, gray fingers tearing, bloodied teeth gnashing, dead eyes staring, revealing everyone's new future. Death's gates had been pried open, and death now binds rather than releases. The life after death is spent aimlessly shambling for all of eternity.
The Earth is now property of the dead, and humanity's time is over.
One less name to call,
One less face to see.
One less voice to speak,
One less mouth to smile.
One less laugh to hear,
One less tear to fall.
One less heart to beat,
One more person to miss.
One less name to call,
One less face to see.
One less voice to speak,
One less mouth to smile.
One less laugh to hear,
One less tear to fall.
One less heart to beat,
One more person to miss.
